The couple was joined by living legend Paul McCartney.The “Moulin Rouge” sensation mingled in PDA with Urban, as they were observed holding hands and looking blissful throughout the evening; according to the award function witnesses.

Ever compassionate Nic endowed all the moral support to her “Days Go By” beau who was nominated for Best Country Collaboration for his duet with Trish Yearwood- “Let the Wind Chase You.”

Katy Perry took the stage off the rocker at the 2009 Grammy Awards held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday (February 8). Geared in rather exaggerated attire, the 24-year-oldperformed her smash hit number “I Kissed a Girl”; twisting and twirling all along for the audience!

Katy confides about the performance previous to the show; to a reporter, “I’m going to be ascending from the ceiling… By banana!”  The choreography had a slight retro fling!

“It’s a little 1940s Folies Bergère/ Rockette [style]. It’s definitely not [like Britney Spears' 2001 VMA performance of] ‘I’m a Slave 4 U’ or something like that. No anacondas on my neck. It’s definitely hopefully going to be one of those moments” adds the hottie.
